We have tried many rule sets over the years but have settled on Lion Rampant and the other offerings in this stable. We find they produce a good fun game at a grand skirmish level that you can comfortably play on a 6’x4’ or 8’x4’ table within a couple of hours.

Our figures for this period are mostly from Wargames Foundry and Gripping Beast with the bulk of our collections being Vikings and Normans. Buildings and ships are from Grand Manner, Adrian’s Walls and Gripping Beast.
